EDGE Grant for AI & Automation in Singapore

Discuss a Transformation

The opportunity

Why this matters in Singapore.

From 30 September 2026, Enterprise Singapore introduces the Enterprise Development and Growth for Enterprises (EDGE) grant, consolidating and replacing the Enterprise Development Grant (EDG), the Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) grant and the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG). For Singapore businesses investing in AI, automation and digital transformation, this is a significant change: a single, streamlined scheme with a clear annual cap, opened up beyond SMEs to all Singapore-registered businesses. Understanding how EDGE works — and designing your AI initiative to align with supportable activities — can materially reduce the net cost of transformation. This guide summarises the scheme as announced; always confirm the current, authoritative details on the Enterprise Singapore website and BizSG before you apply.

Scope

What this covers.

  • What EDGE replaces

From 30 September 2026, EDGE replaces EDG, MRA and PSG. Applications for those legacy schemes cease on 29 September 2026, and projects submitted before then continue under the original rules.

  • Who is eligible

Business entities registered and operating in Singapore with at least 30% local (Singaporean or PR) ownership. Unlike the legacy schemes, EDGE is open to all Singapore businesses — including non-SMEs.

  • How much support

An annual cap of up to S$100,000 per company for eligible activities, resetting each year, with a S$30,000 sub-cap for single-function digital solutions, integrated enterprise systems and selected automation.

  • Support levels

As announced, SMEs may receive up to 70% funding of eligible costs and non-SMEs up to 50%. Projects requiring support beyond the cap may be submitted for case-by-case assessment.

  • Timing & SFEC note

Details of supportable activities are published from 30 September 2026. Note EDGE is not supportable under the SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC); final SFEC claims under legacy schemes are due by 30 November 2026.

  • How to prepare

Document the business problem, the solution and expected outcomes, and align the project to supportable activities — a strong readiness assessment and business case make a materially stronger application.

How we work

From workflow to working AI.

01

Discover & map

We study the real workflow — including the workarounds no manual records — and the decisions that drive cost, speed and risk.

02

Redesign

We decide deliberately what stays human, where AI assists and what agents execute, with controls designed in.

03

Build & integrate

We develop and connect into your ERP, CRM, WMS and knowledge systems — augmenting them, not replacing them.

04

Deploy

We launch into the flow of work with governance, access control, human-in-the-loop approvals and full audit.

05

Optimise

We measure the agreed KPIs and keep improving after go-live, because value compounds in production, not in a demo.

Proof & delivery

How we de-risk it.

ThinkStack helps Singapore enterprises structure AI and automation initiatives so they are both genuinely valuable and well-positioned for grant support where eligible. That starts with a clear problem statement, a costed business case with measurable outcomes, and a solution scoped to align with supportable activities. We are an AI transformation partner, not a grant consultancy or a government agency — we do not submit applications on your behalf or guarantee funding, and all eligibility and approval decisions rest with Enterprise Singapore. Always verify the latest criteria, caps and supportable-activity lists on the official Enterprise Singapore website before committing.

The business case

ROI we design toward.

  • Reduced net investment

Grant support can offset a share of eligible AI and automation costs for qualifying businesses.

  • Broader eligibility

EDGE opens support beyond SMEs to all Singapore-registered businesses.

  • Clearer, single scheme

One consolidated grant replaces three, simplifying planning.

  • Stronger applications

A documented readiness baseline and costed business case improve your case.

  • Note on figures

Representative target ranges we design toward — not guaranteed results. Actual outcomes depend on your data, baseline and scope.
